Parent Project, Sr.

Changing Destructive Adolescent Behavior

Exciting Opportunity for Huntington County Parents!

Huntington Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) is partnering with Parenting Solutions to offer scholarships for the Parent Project® Sr. program! This collaboration reflects Huntington JDAI’s deep commitment to helping families thrive and successfully navigate today’s parenting challenges.

We are incredibly grateful for their support in making Parenting Solutions programs more accessible to families in our community.

Parent Project®, Sr. is an award-winning, evidence-informed prevention and intervention model designed for parents of youth ages 11-18, addressing the most destructive adolescent behaviors. However, many of the strategies are also beneficial for parents of younger children, starting as early as age 7, to help build a strong foundation and prevent future challenges. We know of no other program that covers it all: truancy, drugs, runaways, technology, early teen sex, violence, gangs… Parent Project®, Sr. promises concrete answers for every parent question asked.

But parenting isn’t just about the child—it also affects the relationship between parents. When partners or ex-partners aren’t aligned, frustration and stress can grow, making parenting even harder. That’s why our program provides tools to help parents find common ground, create consistency, and move forward together.

Learn how to never argue with your child again!

What Parents Are Saying About Our Programs

Jennifer

Huntington County, IN

Please take the class! I have learned so much throughout the course. I thought I was doing a good job parenting my children the way I thought I should, but after taking this course it made me realize that some of the things I was doing may have been having an adverse effect on my children. I now see there are more effective ways of parenting that will provide a much better outcome for my children and myself. Using these techniques has helped to make our household more of a peaceful place and has definitely strengthened our relationships. I am so thankful I decided to take the class!

Tracy

Hamilton County, IN

“Every week I show up, I receive hope.”

Stephanie

Lawrence County, IN

“This class gives you extra tools to help manage our strong willed independent kids.”

Nicole

Hamilton County, IN

“I think I previously tried more of the techniques or ideas taught in this class than I thought I would have. However, I think there is significant value to this class because previously I didn't try all of those things in conjunction with some of the core values of the class. When all the ingredients are mixed together the sauce is better.”

Dawn

“You will absolutely love it.”
